Sen. Martha Fuller Clark

A renowned and respected member of the New Hampshire government, Sen. Martha Fuller Clark has earned a strong reputation for her hard work, commitment, and ability to listen to others and compromise. She initially started her career as a trained architectural historian, and became very involved initiatives to protect resources in the 1980s. She participated in public hearings for high profile issues, and was offered the opportunity to run for state office in 1990. With the support of her husband, Sen. Fuller Clark seized the chance to make a difference in her community at both local and state levels and discovered a real passion for public service. She is currently representing the 21st District of New Hampshire as a democratic member of the state senate, where she has served as an advocate for local movements, particularly regarding land conservation, coastal issues and fishery, since 2012. Sen. Fuller Clark is also the vice chair of the New Hampshire Democratic Party, a member of the Democratic National Committee, and is part of the United States Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources and the Senate Internal Affairs Committee.
