Passionate and dedicated, Deborah Horning is currently thriving at the head of Hospice Promise, the end-of-life facility she founded in 2013. She became involved in the field after moving her family to Arizona to be with her father, who was dying. Ms. Horning spent every weekend at his house, and knew hospice care was something she would be proud to devote her life to. After years of hard work, her dreams finally came true. In her current role, Ms. Horning is responsible for ensuring her company is compliant with Medicare guidelines, overseeing finances, payroll, staffing, and marketing, running reports, and leading her team toward making a difference.

Ms. Horning prepared for her endeavors by earning an associate degree in general studies from Glendale Community College and becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She also joined prominent professional associations like the Arizona Hospice & Palliative Care Organization, National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, and Chamber of Commerce.

Moving forward, Ms. Horning intends to be more involved in her community. She is already working toward that goal by supporting the charitable missions of the Phoenix Hope Fest, Cityserve AZ, Breast Cancer Walk, Dehydration Clinics, and church-related activities.
