Driven by her desire to own a business, Claudine Adams made a name for herself as an expert in profit and loss management, business development, and strategic operations. Her strong and well-earned reputation paved the way for her to reach her goals, which she did when she became the head of Bravura, Inc. As the board president and CEO, Ms. Adams is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, overseeing company expansion, marketing, supervising the human resources department and 450 employees, negotiating contracts, developing training curricula, and working on government contracts. Throughout her years of leadership, the system engineering and information technology firm has garnered a wealth of experience dealing with the Department of Defense, the U.S. Army, and the Intel community.

In recognition of her accomplishments, Ms. Adams was honored with the Best of Bell Camp Award for Computer Support and Services in 2016 and 2015, the title of Renaissance Woman of the Year in 2016, and the Top Honoree Award in 2015. Notably, her company was recognized as one of the Top 100 Minority-Owned Businesses in the state of Maryland in 2008 and as one of the Top 500 Minority-Owned Businesses in the United States the same year. Ms. Adams attributes her success to her hard work and to the fact that her company is entirely customer-oriented. She hopes to continue growing and moving forward, and would eventually like to have 1,000 employees and expand her services.

Ms. Adams prepared for her endeavors by earning a Master of Theology from Calvary Christian College in 2000 and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1982. She also obtained an ISO 9001:2008 quality management certification, and became affiliated with prominent professional organizations such as the Association of the United States Army, the Smithsonian Institute, and AFCEA International. Further, Ms. Adams serves on a committee for Lieutenant Governor Anthony G. Bowen.
