Kroa landed at Bethel College, a Christian community of learners dedicated to building lives of commitment for leadership in the Church and in the world. She was drawn to and is passionate about the mission of the higher education institute, and currently serves as an associate professor of chemistry. Dr. Kroa’s responsibilities include overseeing the year-long organic chemistry sequence for science majors, and the one semester course in chemistry for the nursing and allied health professions. She occasionally teaches other courses, such as biochemistry laboratory or thermochemistry laboratory, and, as of 2013, she was appointed chair of the department of biology and chemistry.

Ms. Konsel runs the business with her brother, Brent. He handles the photography and graphic design team while she handles the event planning team. This business was a way for them to do what they love while giving back; 10 percent of all of their net proceeds go to a charity of their clients’ choice.
