As a teenager, she became a carpenter helper and worked with her father in his business. After Ms. Hanson’s introduction to carpentry and construction, she decided to learn and increase her skills by taking various trade programs and acquiring various licenses. She followed her passion by opening Pipe Is Our Life Corp., a company that installs sprinklers and HVAC for commercial buildings, schools, hospitals, and high risers.
