Helping people is Kimmylea Konsel’s passion, and LimeLight Expressions allows her to do just that. The full-service event planning and design company was created with the goal of putting their customers in the limelight, whether it be for a wedding, corporate party, small gathering or marketing event for a business. LimeLight Expressions takes event planning, photography and design to create a masterpiece; they want their creations to be their customers’ success. Ms. Konsel runs the business with her brother, Brent. He handles the photography and graphic design team while she handles the event planning team. This business was a way for them to do what they love while giving back; 10 percent of all of their net proceeds go to a charity of their clients’ choice. For Ms. Konsel, the most gratifying aspects of her career are the testimonials and referrals she receives after a project is completed. Her clients become close friends.

In recognition of Ms. Konsel’s success, she was honored with the Event & Wedding Planning Omaha 2015 Award, the Diamond Professional Award for Event Planning from 2013 to 2014, and the Best Dressed Award by Omaha Strictly Business Magazine in 2013. She credits these achievements to her parents and to God, as well as working hard and treating everybody as an equal. Looking forward, Ms. Konsel plans to continue to expand her business and fulfill customer needs with quality products and exceptional customer service.
