Growing up in the machining industry, Ivy Hirth knows the trade inside and out. She worked in the family business alongside her father for years before finally purchasing Al Hirth Machining, Inc. from him a couple of years ago. Throughout her time in her profession, Ms. Hirth has become an expert in product development, project management, strategic planning, customer service, lean manufacturing, and sales. She also recently completed a AF90-100C certification, which should help her grow the company. Looking to the future, Ms. Hirth hopes to employ more people and rekindle interest in the trade.
