She received a Bachelor of Arts in communication from McGill University, and, upon graduation, was hired by the company to work in the call center. Ms. Smith’s hard work has allowed her to move up through the ranks to her current position as the worldwide account manager for airfreight, where she is responsible for overseeing daily business operations and traveling across Canada for business. Her dedication to her work won her the Five-Star Award from the Ambassadors’ President’s Club.

She began her journey by receiving a Bachelor of Science in education as a math major and psychology minor, and then earned a MEPD (math education emphasis). In December 2009, Dr. Krause-Hanson received a Ph.D. in education, and completed her dissertation, “Leadership Development and Mentoring That Matter: Insights from the Career Trajectories of Women Community College Presidents and Chief Academic Officers.” She was awarded the Morgridge Fellowship for Technical College Leaders during this time.
