Although Sandra Cochran did not plan on having a career in health care, she decided to stay after she began volunteering at a hospital and realized how much she enjoyed it. Before she retired, she served as the registered nurse case manager for the County of Riverside, but she still plans on staying involved in the field as a mentor and educator.
