With more than a decade of clinical research experience, Kristy Johnson is currently the clinical team lead for INC Research. The full-service clinical research organization provides a full range of Phase I to IV clinical development services for the world’s pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries. She is responsible for using ICH-GCP guidelines, FDA regulations, and company/sponsor SOPs to ensure that quality research is completed as per protocol, and has had experience overseeing Phase I to Phase IV clinical trials, in addition to immense therapeutic experience with immunology, infectious diseases, respiratory, women’s health and oncology.
Before entering the clinical research industry, Ms. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts in administration of justice from the University of Pittsburgh, followed by a Master of Project Management through the Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University. Additionally she also holds associate degree in criminology from Butler County Community College.
Ms. Johnson has worked hard for her present success. She is currently overseeing 25 countries, in addition to managing more than 100 employees around the world. She hopes to continue this success in her role as global director, and hopes to be remembered as an honest person who was always willing to help others.
Ms. Johnson is a member of a number of organizations related to her field, including the International Honor Society for Business, the North Carolina Chapter of the Project Management Institute and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. She is also a member of Sigma Beta Delta and the United States, North Carolina and Raleigh Jaycees. When she is not working, she enjoys cooking, going to the beach and spending time with her friends and family.
