Out of 53 years of expert services to the health and wellness arena, Sister Iverson finds that her greatest career achievement was obtaining approval from the directors to invite a fellow high school girl with muscular dystrophy and cerebral palsy to participate in after-school sports activities. She attributes her success to her family upbringing, religious and ethical values, and personal and societal tools needed to leave home. Initially, she became involved in her profession because of the influence of her grandmother, whose dedication to service and faith she observed as a very young child. Elaine Hall is passionate about education. Currently as the school board president of the Sahuarita Unified School District, she is responsible for overseeing the governance and policies for the entire educational system. Now that she is the past president of ASBA, a non-profist educational organization, she can currently be found traveling throughout Arizona to meet with school board members from all areas, especially those who are unable to travel to Phoenix to attend regular conferences. In years to come, Ms. Hall will continue to be an executive board member and will become president of friends of the Arizona School Boards Association. She will also continue to be a member of the friends board and will pull back into her district.
