For as long as she can remember, Jill Torke has wanted to work in a major hotel. She followed her dreams, and started her hospitality career at the Hamilton Stouffer Hotel in Illinois more than two decades ago. Ms. Torke transferred to the Ritz-Carlton in Chicago in 2003, and has been with them ever since. She considers her greatest strength to be her ability to work with a diverse team and come to a common agreement. Ms. Torke is also proud of the fact that five of her team members have been promoted to leadership roles. She was inspired by one of her own superiors, who taught her the value of always striving for perfection.

Marie S. Bulgin, DVM

Growing up, Marie Bulgin always wanted to own a ranch. In pursuit of her goal, she earned a degree as a zoologist and discovered her skills, which led to her harbored desire for a career in agriculture and veterinary medicine. She owns a small-animal medicine veterinary practice, and her husband owns a large-animal practice. Dr. Bulgin also shared her experiences and her love for animals through her teaching position with the Caine Veterinary Teaching Center at the University of Idaho. Although she has since retired from the academic arena, she considers helping young intern students to be her greatest accomplishment.

Cindy L. Barton

As a student, Cindy L. Barton was always involved in debate and drama clubs because she enjoys and excels at speaking in front of people. She decided she wanted to help people and saw working as a lawyer as a combination of her talent and her passion. More than two decades later, Ms. Barton is thriving in her chosen profession. She has spent the past five years as guardian ad litem for The Eighth District Juvenile Court, which provides advocacy for children in court. In her role, Ms. Barton advocates and advises the court on behalf of approximately 200 children in the state of Utah. She also engages in a team approach to help kids, and attends team meetings. Dr. Steiger loves that her job gives her the opportunity to connect with others and support them on their journeys. Moving forward, however, she would like to restructure her business to be more effective and to allow her to work more closely with teens and young adults.
