Motivated by her desire to help people, Theresa Schubach started her professional journey by earning a master’s degree in clinical social work from The University of Utah, as well as certification in geriatric dialectical behavioral therapy. She also became a certified sex offender treatment provider. Since then, Ms. Schubach has spent most of the past decade as a licensed clinical social worker and therapist for Holding the Turn, which provides counseling and various cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy services. In this capacity, she is responsible for offering a welcoming, comfortable and professional environment to clients that offers high-quality knowledge and expertise. She must also complete ongoing training in her field and keeping her credits up-to-date.
An expert in depression, grieving, borderline personality disorders, counseling, compassion and empathy, Ms. Schubach became involved in her profession following her passion for the health care field and desire to be an advocate for others.
