In 2011, Tara Racer followed her passions and, with the help of partner Gabe Moreno, Aberdare Business Solutions, Inc. The company provides high-quality, full service bookkeeping services to their clients, ranging from monthly bookkeeping to payroll to tax reporting. To better serve her clients, Ms. Racer became QuickBooks certified and took ProAdvisor Master classes. Customer satisfaction and quality products are paramount to the mission of Aberdare.

As a woman in today’s world, Ms. Racer attributes her success to her perseverance and hard work. She received a degree from the University of Texas, and garnered hands-on experience in bookkeeping and accounting for fifteen years. She is very proud of being able to branch off and open her own firm, and is inspired by her desire to educate clients and work on growing the business.

Ms. Racer is a member of the Katy Chamber of Commerce, the West Houston Chamber of Commerce and the Katy Women’s Leadership Circle. She also does pro bono work and promotes nonprofits. When she is not working, Ms. Racer enjoys gardening, traveling, antiques and antique collecting.
