Passionate and dedicated, Bev Plowman has amassed more than 30 years of experience in the arts. For the past 12 years, she has been the sole proprietor and visual artist for the art exhibition, Fox and Tribe. The exhibition offers interactive art, abstract impressionism and contemporary, calm, reflective fine art, in addition to classes. Ms. Plowman specializes in painting, ceramics, sculpting and mosaics.

Prior to starting Fox and Tribe, Ms. Plowman was a commissioned artist of mosaic murals, sculptures and paintings, as well as a primary and visual arts teacher. The highlight of her career was opening an eight-by-four meter mosaic mural celebrating Moonee Ponds’ heritage in a public area. She attributes her success to her many opportunities and the referrals from clients.

Ms. Plowman holds a diploma in teaching and a graduate diploma in early childhood education. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts as well. She is a member of the International Contolary Mosaic, and a representative for the Mosaic Association of Australia and New Zealand.

Looking to the future, Ms. Plowman hopes to have more commissions. She also wants to create more sculptures, as well as a solo painting exhibition exploring light and textures in water.
