Passionate about helping children prepare for their futures, Sharon Smith chose a career in education and counseling. She is a middle and high school teacher within Volusia County Schools, as well as an executive secretary and Christian counselor for children and young adults at One-to-One Family Christian Counseling, Inc. She would like to be remembered for helping children reach their highest potential, as well as making a positive impact on other people’s lives. Ms. Smith prepared for this career path by completing a certification to teach grades K-12 in business education, and certification in Microsoft Office. She is currently working on a master’s program to be a national certified family life educator.

Ms. Smith’s passion, love of people and desire to serve others translates to every aspect of her life, and is what drives her toward success. In addition to her many positions educating and helping children and young adults, she is also a Christian and servant leader at the Calvary Christian Center in Ormond Beach, Fla. Further, she participates in the following organizations: the Global Ministry, the Back to School Campaign and Orphan Ministries.
