An expert in geriatrics, Ms. Ekpo is responsible for managing all day-to-day operations of the facility, including coordinating care with doctors, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and families and managing the nurses, social workers, aides and physical therapists who assist the patients.
Ms. Ekpo prepared for her career by receiving a Bachelor of Science in nursing and earning her certification as a registered nurse. She also recently received a Master of Science in nursing from the University of Phoenix, where she graduated with honors. She is currently pursuing hospice and palliative care certifications.
