With 18 years in her current position, Laura Ruttan has found her strengths to be her ability to multitask and her meticulous attention to detail. Although she has experience in both the legal field and real estate, she decided to pursue a career solely in the former upon moving to Georgia. She is very proud of the longevity she has achieved thus far, and prides herself in being a loyal and dedicated employee to Dentons US LLP and its attorneys.

Moving forward, Ms. Ruttan would love to see more variety and definition in the role and levels of a “legal secretary.” Although there aren’t many males in her specific position, she has noticed that women working in the legal field are compensated less than their male counterparts, and she would love to see changes in that aspect as well.

Ms. Ruttan supports the efforts of a variety of charities and organizations, including the Children’s Miracle Network, St. Jude’s Hospital, the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association. When she is not working, she enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family.
