As a professional trainer and coach, Barbara King has excellent communication and people skills. These strengths have helped her greatly in her other position as an executive administrator for ARCpoint Franchise Group. ARCpoint has 100 franchised labs in drug testing, medical testing, DNA testing and third party administration drug testing. As an executive administrator for the company, she is responsible for franchisee on boarding and working as a franchisee liaison, legal liaison and facilities manager. Additionally, she must also act as an account manager for three companies, a human resources manager and a safety manager. She plans meetings, manages communications and is involved in franchise candidate validation.

Ms. King holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. She moved to South Carolina in 2007 to work for a law firm part time. One day at the gym, she was approached about working for ARCpoint full time, and the rest is history. Previous to this position, she owned a consulting business called, “Hypnosis Consultants,” through which she helped people heal. She also worked as a manager of a nursing home.

Looking to the future, Ms. King wants to make an impact on the franchise business as a whole and help realize profit more quickly. She wants to be remembered for her knowledge and integrity, as well as for her desire to help everyone she could. She supports her local church and the JDRF. When she is not working, she can be found spending time with her grandsons and researching and learning about user-centered design and how people use products.
