Following a passion and skill for mathematics, Deborah Vest has been working in finance for many years, and is currently the chief accountant for Commercial Management, Inc. Although she is ready to handle any accounting issues she is faced with on a day-to-day basis, she is an expert at budgeting, preparing audits, working with auditors and handling the accounting for 40 properties.

When she was only 16 years old, Ms. Vest began working at her father’s CPA company. She quickly realized that she was not only good at the work, but she also enjoyed it immensely. She then went on to receive a degree in finance from Cambridge College. In 2011, she also obtained a MBA with an emphasis in accounting and business management from Friends University.

Ms. Vest attributes her success to the dedication and hard work she exhibits in her position every day. In addition, she also isn’t afraid to take on new ventures and challenges. She has had great teachers and mentors throughout the years as well, and she knows their help and guidance have also helped her get to where she is today. Ms. Vest looks forward to retiring in the next few years.

Outside of work, Ms. Vest supports the efforts of the United Way and House of Hope. In her free time, she can be found baking, crocheting or swimming.
