Aided by more than four decades in the biotechnology and regulatory industries, and extensive expertise in chemistry, molecules, regulatory affairs and biotech drug development, Camille Shore is currently the owner and acting vice president of the biotechnology company, New Horizons Pharmaceuticals. In her role, she is in charge of communicating with companies that need assistance, and working with the FDA and global authorities.
Previously, Ms. Shore garnered experience as the senior director for the biotechnology and life sciences firm, Voisin Consulting. There, she was in charge of managing the compliance submissions, clinical development, issues of drug product and development, proposals, research and US and global regulatory strategies. She also advised a team of 75 experts globally, and recruited for several positions within the company.
Ms. Shore prepared for her endeavors by receiving a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry, and then attending UCLA for graduate studies. Her abilities to share her knowledge and teach complex formulations in simple forms have greatly attributed to her success. In addition to current position, Ms. Shore also owns GIT Consulting Ltd, where she provides regulatory strategy services, regulatory communications, submission preparations and authorship, auditing and due diligence services. Additionally, she teaches drug development and regulatory courses at universities like University of California, San Diego and for various private groups. She became involved in the field because of her desire to understand the complexity of the pharmaceutical world.
Looking to the future of her career, Ms. Shore hopes to do more teaching and work with more documentation of off-label drugs. She is an extremely honest and moral person, and she always has her company’s best interests at heart. She wants to be remembered for her compassion and ability to motivate people to make the right decisions for the company and industry. In connection with her field, Ms. Shore is also a member of the Drug Information Association and the Biotechnology Industry Organization. Further, she is a supporter of the City of Hope, and enjoys whale watching, photography, gardening and traveling in her free time.
