Inspired by her mother, Therese Jorgensen is very active in her parish, the Church of St. Timothy. Her mother was a music director and an organ player for the group, and thus Ms. Jorgensen has been playing music since grade school. She decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps, and has been the music director for more than 10 years now.

In that time, Ms. Jorgensen’s areas of expertise have come to include working with volunteers and being organized, both of which require an immense amount of patience. She also prides herself on being a spiritual leader who uses music to empower people to grow closer to God. Ms. Jorgensen’s greatest career accomplishment was organizing a ministry concert this past April, however. She was not only able to fill 600 seats, but also wrote a piece based on divine mercy and trusting Jesus.

Ms. Jorgensen wants to be remembered as a person filled with faith and love for God’s people. Although she is happy with where she is in her life and with her growing fan base, she would like to do more writing in the near future. In her free time, she volunteers with Feed My Starving Children and the Confirmation group at the Church of St. Timothy.
