A veteran of her industries, Margaret Donat has more than 40 years of experience as a scuba diver and a registered nurse. She is currently working as a chamber coordinator and RN for the Pacific Grover Hyperbaric Chamber, which is a hyperbaric facility that provides health care, education and training for hyperbaric crews. Prior to her current position, Ms. Donat served as a therapeutic apheresis nurse coordinator, a donor room nurse, a relief nurse at Kennolyn Specialty Camp, and pediatric medical assistant. She worked as a scuba instructor for several years in the 1970s and 1980s and has her teaching credentials as well.
Ms. Donat’s memorable career has been honored with the Wendell Ayers Leadership Award and the Jack Nielson Distinguished Services Award. She is an associate member of the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society, Pacific Grove Hyperbaric Facility and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. She is also an innstructor for the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology. In her free time, she enjoys needle point and is volunteers with her community emergency response team.
