Eva Chen has always been passionate about cooking and making people happy. She grew up with great food and generations of amazing chefs, so opening her own catering company was the perfect career path. As the owner of Out Of The Box Catering, Ms. Chen is able to use her party planning and cooking experience to make her clients’ events come alive. She got her associate degree in hotel and resort management from Newbury College in 2013 with her business partner Jonathan Hatch. She also worked in the catering department of Simmons College.

Although getting the business started was a challenge, she in constantly inspired by her clients and loves seeing their faces light up when their party comes out better that they expected. Looking to the future, Ms, Chen wants to continue growing the business. She and her partner hope to one day manage the business from afar, while hiring managers and employees to do the every day work. In addition to working on growing Out Of The Box Catering, she supports Wounded Warriors  and volunteers at a local elementary school festival every May.
