Inspired by her desired to help people achieve their dreams, M. Teresa Johnson has spent the past two decades building homes through the company she co-owns, Bon Vie Home Builders, llc. She and her partner pride themselves on their ability to provide custom, quality houses at affordable prices. Ms. Johnson loves the fact that she is able to serve the people in the town she grew up in, and is willing to take on tough cases others may not be willing to deal with. She wouldn’t change a thing about what she does.

As a woman in today’s world, hard work and knowledge contributed to Ms. Johnson’s success. Her organized mindset and ability to manage both businesses and people has helped her flourish in the construction world as well. Although the industry is male-dominated, Ms. Johnson never let that get in her way. She hopes to be remembered as a smart businesswoman and a great mom who always did the best she could to do the right thing for others.

To prepare for her career, Ms. Johnson took courses in business and bookkeeping, and utilized hands-on training. She also maintains affiliation with the American Home Builders Association, the Better Business Bureau, and the Notary Society. Further, Ms. Johnson is an honored member of The International Women’s Leadership Association, and would advise the younger generations to not let anything stop them from their dreams. When she isn’t working, she enjoys traveling, walking, biking, golfing, boating, and spending time with her friends and family
