Now in her 37th year as the president and CEO of Banko Beverage, Mary Ellen Racz continues to demonstrate her excellence in marketing, business, and interpersonal management. The wholesaler provides malt beverages and beer, and, having been in Ms. Racz’s family for more than eight decades, is very close to her heart. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing donations, marketing, finances and personnel, managing a strong team, and maintaining a family-valued, customer-driven environment.

Ms. Racz considers one of her greatest accomplishments to be the fact that Banko Beverage is buying property and building a new building. The company has grown a great deal under her leadership. Ms. Racz attributes her success to doing her best and being honest. Looking forward, she intends to continue to expand the business with future brands and make life even better for the employees.

To stay up to date on everything going on in her industry, Ms. Racz maintains affiliation with the National Beer Wholesalers Association, the Craft Brewers Association, the Pennsylvania Beer Alliance, and the Malt Beverage Distributors Association of Pennsylvania. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Bachelor of Science in management and marketing, both from Purdue University.
