With extensive background experience in management and clinical trials, Kristi King Etchberger considers her greatest strength to be her knowledge of the industry. She currently uses what she’s learned during her time at companies like Atlantic Clinical Research Collaborative and Carolus Capital Advisors, LLC, to run her own company, Clinical Research Billing. The billing services provider supports clinical research sites with their financial needs by performing internal audits, invoicing for contractual items, overseeing trial management systems, and negotiating contracts and budgets. When Ms. Etchberger decided to start her own business about a year ago, she could have partnered with another company, but would have given up some of her control. Instead, she took a leap of faith and went out on her own. Ms. Etchberger is extremely proud of her accomplishment, and remains passionate about her work. She believes her unique perspective propelled her into a very reputable and successful business.

To prepare for her career, Ms. Etchberger earned an MBA in finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Bachelor of Arts in economics and psychology from Pitzer College in Claremont, California, and a chartered financial analyst designation from the CFA Institute. Furthermore, she has recently been studying pharmaceutical law at Seton Hall University. Looking forward, Ms. Etchberger’s goal is to grow Clinical Research Billing at a pace that does not sacrifice the quality of her work. She wants to hire the right people to execute the principles of her company. Ms. Etchberger hopes to be remembered as a woman who did business in a manner that shows the principles of the Kingdom of God. When she isn’t working, she supports the mission of the First Baptist Church of Boynton Beach, Florida, where she serves as a clerk. Ms. Etchberger also enjoys cooking and spending time with her family, and is a member of The International Women’s Leadership Association.
