Aided by strengths in community development and public awareness, Colleen DeShazer joined Mobilite in February 2016. The telecommunications business works with venues and wireless carriers to ensure their customers are better connected. They are a global provider of complete wireless solutions, and they build, design and operate networks and infrastructure to deliver optimal coverage. As the company’s permitting manager, Ms. DeShazer is responsible for federal, state, and railroad permitting, as well as public speaking and community development.

Prior to joining Mobilite, Ms. DeShazer spent 16 years serving as the commissioner for the Port of St. Helens, among a variety of other jobs. She prepared for her career by earning a master’s degree in environmental law and energy policy regulation from Vermont Law School in 2016, and a bachelor’s degree in business from Warner Pacific College, where she graduated cum laude in 2012. Ms. DeShazer also holds a certificate in business technology from ITT Technical Institute in Portland.
