Attributing her success to creating new business models, passion for her work, and the fact that she loves what she does, Laura Tapia Navarro retired her 25-year career in consumer goods analysis during her ninth year as marketing director for Procter & Gamble. There, she helped Procter & Gamble continue providing products including personal care, household cleaning, laundry detergents, prescription drugs and disposable nappies. Specifically, Ms. Tapia Navarro marketed for Mexico and Latin America in a regional role and trained all new marketers and brand managers. Since 2014, she has served as the chairperson for an educational institution private school from kindergarten to 12th grade, located at Maguey #64 Cuajimalapa, Mexico City, called Comunidad Educativa Tomas Moro. Ms. Tapia Navarro is also an advisor for the past six months for the Victoria 147, an organization for mentoring female entrepreneurs.

Ms. Tapia Navarro’s greatest career achievements are the creation of a marketing services organization in Mexico that was adopted regionally in Latin America different disciplines of marketing experts to work in one department developing and being able to negotiate. She is also developing a strong high-performing organization as a women, and creating and sponsoring a women’s network to bring women with networking and developing opportunities to advance in their careers. Ms. Tapia Navarro is seperated from her peers through her determination, discipline and having a vision, however it was her experience at Procter & Gamble that has been a driving force for her to empower women and create other programs to support and educate executive women.

Ms. Tapia Navarrro is fluent in Englsh. She was the Latin America Marketing Director of Brand Operations in Mexico from 2011 to 2013. She has two children, a 17-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy.In five years, Ms. Tapia Navarro would like to be a board member for different companies and become a consultant. She’d also like to expand upon her project for executive women in the next few months in Mexico City, while providing as a marketing advisor for another company, which will be named in the next few months.
