Carol Yunker was an expert problem solver in the administrative support services arena for 35 years. She retired after serving as a systems support administrator at ACT Teleconferencing, the telecommunications company. There, Ms. Yunker’s maintained data for reservations, billed for the video managed service companies, including hardware and software.

Through her ability to get along with everyone, Ms. Yunker has received ACT Excellence in Service Awards. Initially, she became involved in her profession because she thought computers were great fun when she studied English and history. Ms. Yunker received a master’s degree in library science and a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Rutgers University. She is a member of Beta Phi Mu Honor Society.

Ms. Yunker is a couple of credits short of earning a degree in mathematics. She is a master swimmer and competes in the National Senior Games and the YMCA National Masters. She has also competed in one of the U.S. master’s long meters course. She is also a member of the United States Maters Swimming, Inc. and is an ASCA Level 2 Couch for USA Swimming. During her free-time, Ms. Yunker is a donor for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
