Celebrating 20 years of independent alternative health coaching, Chi Kung instructor, and licensed massage therapy, Ada H. Citron continues independently as an expert in conducting equine-facilitated counseling sessions. She offers a variety of her own workshops, including a series in which women explore and integrate masculine and feminine archetypal energies and develop leadership capabilities. Her Taoist sessions encompass meditation, chi kung exercises, bodywork, self-massage, guided visualization, counseling, and Wu Chi breathing. Individual sessions are tailored to each client’s specific needs. Ms. Citron’s sessions with couples, families, and classes are structured according to the goals of the group.
Together, Ms. Citron and her clients select the modalities which prove to be the most potent and easy to access. Since 1985, she has been a student of Mantak Chia’s Universal Healing Tao system. In the past, she has worked in New York professional theater as a production manager and producer. However, the highlight of Ms. Citron’s career was starting her own practice, having become involved in her profession through her passion and desire to help others.
Ms. Citron received graduate-level coursework in counseling through Columbia University, and has obtained a Bachelor of Arts in semiotics from Brown University. She also wields honors certification in master’s level counseling and is a Certified Universal Healing Tao Instructor.
