As the proud owner of Loon Cover Arts, Judy Palfrey provides botanical style florals, natural leaves and landscapes in watercolor, prints and greeting cards in her art gallery and at shows throughout central New Hampshire . As an expert in fine arts, she conducts programs for parents and teachers on positive approaches to children and hand-painting Ms. Palfrey was instrumental in putting together a community art program that offered residents from 6 – 92 years old the opportunity to design and paint large lamppost banners. They graced the light-posts for five years. She has painted murals for businesses and in home throughout the Lakes Region of NH. Ms.Palfrey completed her art studies with Tony Ventura, Loren Percy, Sylvia Brofos and Mary Bohn.
Since becoming a professional artist and philanthropist, Ms. Palfrey has earned was named Women of Achievement Award by the Franklin Business and Professional Women, and Citizen of the Year Award through by the Franklin Elks, and was has been and continues to be an artist of the month through MAA and LRAA. She has a bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University, with a major in Home Economics and a minor in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Palfrey keeps abreast of changes in her profession through her memberships with Manchester Artists Association and Gallery, Lakes Region Art Association. and Newburyport Art Association.
