Initially, Dr. Cynthia Margo became involved in her profession because she has always had a keen interest in human science throughout her undergraduate years. In medical school, she decided to pursue pathology because she found the skin to be interesting and the window into all areas of medicine. Now, 21 years later, Dr. Margo continues in the dermatopathology department of Weill Cornell Medical College. 

For the past nine years, Dr. Margo has provided the medical college with expertise in auto inflammatory skin disease, unusual skin tumors, inflammatory lung disease, lumphoma, and melanoma. And through hard work and focus, she has earned New York Metro Area’s Top Doctors award, drawing upon her medical education from the University of Manitoba. In the coming years, Dr. Magro intends on continuing to strive for diagnostic excellence.
