Driven by a passion for the field, Brenda Watson has become well-known as an expert on project management, audits, re-reimbursement, compliance, and the HIM revenue cycle world. She is currently using her talents as a senior management consultant at Berkeley Research Group, LLC, which serves real estate and facilities management clients within corporate, institutional and government sectors. Their mission is to help design and implement integrated workplace management software to help solve complex issues.

Looking to the future, Ms. Watson hopes to grow as the industry grows. To accomplish this goal, she intends to continue her academic pursuits. She already holds a Bachelor of Science, and is presently studying for an online certification. She also plans to earn a master’s degree.

When Ms. Watson isn’t working, she is volunteering her time as a board member of Children’s Forest of Carroll County, serving on the Home and School Association Board, or professionally volunteering her time at the State of Maryland health information data quality women’s group. She also encourages students at her daughter’s middle school to start focusing on their career path by offering training opportunities. Ms. Watson would like to be remembered as a family-oriented person who was a role model and inspiration to others, as well as for helping her daughter incorporate God into her life.
