Backed by more than four decades of experience in health care, Rhona Atlas started her career in the medical field as a candy striper. She eventually received a Bachelor of Science in nursing, a nurse practitioner license and qualification as a registered nurse first assistant. Although she retired in 2013, she remains active in nursing by conducting health assessments and giving flu shots and vaccines.

Ms. Atlas attributes her success to her love of helping people and her reliability. She loves what she does, and wants to continue to remain involved in the health care and nursing industries, and possibly start mentoring others. Throughout her career, she was an inspiration to herself; she was constantly pushing herself to achieve further success.

Outside of her career and true to her nature, Ms. Atlas’ proudest accomplishment was caring for her mother, whom she still visits twice a week. She also volunteers with Girls Inc, where she teaches young girls about positive thinking and self-worth.
