Lisa Black joined the practice in September 2000 after attending LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and completing her residency at the University Medical Center of Lafayette. She is board certified in family medicine, trained in hyperbaric medicine and performs routine cosmetic procedures.

With experience treating patients of all ages, Dr. Black is an expert in diagnosing, educating on the treatment and prevention of diabetes and performing minor surgical services and microdermabrasion. Her passion and commitment to her work has resulted in a number of accolades, including Top 10 Doctor, Patient’s Choice Award, and Compassionate Doctor Recognition.

Dr. Black is a member of the Terrebonne Parish Medical Society, the Louisiana State Medical Society, the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling with her family.
