Linda Groff was exposed to the subject of futurism while she was studying international relations, and she has been hooked every since. With more than 40 years of experience in futurism consulting, she is a director and theorist consultant for Global Options & Evolutionary Futures Consulting, where she helps a team of clients organize and research materials on future studies. She also teaches, writes and provides workshops in the U.S. and abroad on global futures, evolution and change, peace, conflict resolution and nonviolence, intercultural and interfaith dialogue, unity and diversity issues, and spiritual and consciousness topics to a variety of organizations. She is also a professor emeritus at California State University, Dominguez Hills, where she teaches and researches alongside students in the fields of future studies, political science and history.

Dr. Groff prepared for her career by earning a Ph.D. in international relations, a Master of Arts in law and diplomacy, and a Bachelor of Arts in English. She has published more than 65 articles, and also has several books in preparation as either author or editor. She is a member of a number of organizations related to her field and industry.

As a woman in today’s world, Dr. Groff attributes her success to putting in long hours of work and research into the area of futurism. She has worked as a research assistant for a professor at Yale, then Harvard, and then two professors at MIT. Throughout the course of her career, she has also taught at universities in the United States, Canada, Japan and Europe. Further, she was asked to guest speak at a number of conferences and workshops, including the World Future Review, and has prepared PowerPoint presentations on futures, peace, and intercultural and interfaith issues.
