Recently named one of America’s Top Surgeons, Christina Seo is widely regarded as an expert on colon cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, anal rectal disease, minimally invasive colorectal surgery, colonoscopies, and diverticulitis. She initially became involved in the field because of the influence of her parents, both medical professionals, and because she enjoys working with her hands and using new technology. Dr. Seo channeled that passion and background training into developing her own practice, Barash-White, MD, PA, which she considers to be her greatest accomplishment. In her role there, she is responsible for performing surgeries, including transanal minimally invasive surgery, as well as sacral nerve stimulation, colonoscopies, and various office procedures.

Dr. Seo prepared for her career by earning an MD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2001, and board certifications in rectal surgery and general surgery. She ensures that she is up-to-date with everything in her field by maintaining affiliation with the Catholic Medical Association, ASCRS, and the American College of Surgeons.

Looking to the future, Dr. Seo hopes to build her practice and establish a good referral base. She would like to gain the confidence of many doctors in the area so that they refer their patients to her, as well as become more involved in the community. Dr. Seo also intends to specialize in minimally invasive surgery and robotics, and participate in medical missions.
