Motivated by her desire to take care of others, Dr. Manjula Raguthu decided to enter the medical field. She proceeded to earn a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Guntur Medical College in 1990, and then a postgraduate diploma in obstetrics and gynecology in 1993. Dr. Raguthu is board-certified in anti-aging and integrative medicine, family practice, advanced trauma life support, medical coding and medical office management.  Additionally, she is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians and the American Anti-Aging Academy.

Using that impressive background, Dr. Raguthu has spent the past 14 years as the physician and director of Medwin Family Medicine & Rehabilitation. The private practice provides primary and urgent care practices for a variety of inpatient and outpatient medical conditions, in addition to transportation physicals, travel vaccinations and drug-testing services. In her position, she is responsible for motivating patients, as well as overseeing the primary care clinic, conducting health interventions, supervising medical staff, and assigning clinical duties. Looking to the future, Dr. Raguthu intends to continue building the practice.

With health care experience totaling more than 20 years, Dr. Raguthu attributes her success to her hard work and dedication. She believes that “health is wealth,” and her dedication to provide quality, comprehensive and compassionate health care to all her patients, from infants to the elderly, has garnered her much respect and recognition. She was named one of the Best Family Physicians in America by the Consumer’s Research Council of America, ranked 32nd in Family Practice Boards in America, and received an Exemplary Leadership Award. She also received distinction upon graduation from medical school.

Outside of her work with Medwin Family Medicine, Dr. Raguthu supports a variety of nonprofit organizations, and also provides health care to immigrant children. She also enjoys badminton, photography and handicrafts.
