Balinda Coulter has been in the towing industry with her husband since 2001. Her husband started  Johnboy’s Towing Inc., in 1998, and she now runs the office for him, though she is not limited to desk work. Balinda also gets in the truck and runs calls just like the other drivers; there isn’t a hat in the business that she doesn’t wear from day to day. As the company’s president for the past 10 years, she is responsible for implementing and utilizing the latest towing technology and equipment within the business.

Johnboy’s Towing Inc. boasts full-time drivers that have been extensively trained in the use of towing equipment and recovery services for semi tractor-trailers, medium-duty vehicles, passenger vehicles, and flatbed transportation. The company has three locations, Oceano, San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles, Calif. These three locations increases its ability to serve San Luis Obispo County, as well as Northern Santa Barbara County. Additionally, they are also able to serve customers in need of service in Southern Monterey County.

As a woman in today’s world, Ms. Coulter attributes her success to her hard work and dedication, as well as her knowledge of the business. In correlation with her career path, she is a member of the California Tow Truck Association (CTTA). She also donates cars to a variety of charities. Looking to the future of her career and Johnboy’s Towing, she hopes that both will experience continued growth and success.
