For nearly 30 years, Audrey Weissman has been a doctor at Rego Park Medical Associates, a private practice that was founded by her father, and run by a family of doctors. Her areas of expertise include internal medicine, allergy medicine, sub-specific pediatric and adult allergies, asthma, immunology and allergic dermatology. She received a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and English from Barnard College and her medical doctorate from Meharry Medical College. She is also certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.

Initially, Dr. Weissman became involved in her profession because she was always interested in problem solving and helping people with problems and other medical-related issues. She also comes from a long line of physicians, and her two sons are also in the medical field. Prior to treating patients at Rego Park, she was an attending at Mount Sinai/St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital.

Dr. Weissman is extremely committed to her practice and her patients. She has won a number of awards and recognition, including being named to Castle Connolly’s Best Doctors, American Women Recognized for Past Achievements and Outstanding Contributions to the Community, New York’s Best Doctors and America’s Top Physicians. Further, Dr. Weissman is associated with several organizations so she can stay up-to-date in her field, including the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the New York and Long Island Allergy Asthma Societies, the Medical Society of the State of New York and the Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
