Driven by her desire to use her knowledge to give students the best education possible, Jessica Williams is currently serving as an independent consultant for the nonprofit educational services organization, Cooperative Educational Service Agency 7 (CESA7). In this position, which she has now held for two years, she is responsible for consulting for the Soaring Program and providing coaching and technical assistance for program improvement, as well as serving as an instructor to the alternative teacher’s license program. Additionally, she must also teach unit and lesson design, differentiated instruction, conflict resolution and growth mindset for the alternative teacher license program.
Ms. Williams received a bachelor’s degree in elementary and middle school education, with a minor in religious studies for first to eighth grade, and a master’s degree in educational leadership. She brings 13 years of past experiences to her position, including experience as a school improvement facilitator for WestEd, where she facilitated improvement in persistently low-performing schools, as well as a district summer school principal, classroom teacher, new teacher mentor, tutor, and 21st century ALT teacher. Looking to the near future, Ms. Williams hopes to obtain her doctorate.
In addition to her career in the education sector, Ms. Williams is also a Mary Kay senior consultant, a Pampered Chef consultant, and a Thirty-One consultant.
