Pactiv is a manufacturer and distributor of foam, plastic bags and containers. As the health and safety human resources data specialist for the company, Bonnie Farley is responsible for implementing health and safety for new hires, training all employees, ordering and issuing monthly awards for safe behavior, paying the company’s bills, and making badges.

Ms. Farley has held this position for more than 30 years, initially starting out as a new hire. She was eventually promoted and became an administrative assistant nurse before settling into human resources. Her dedication to Pactiv, in addition to her passion and hard work, has earned her a 30-year plaque and the Woman of the Year Award from the National Association of Professional Women in 2010. She attributes her success to her ability to work and deal with people. She is able to understand, relate to and inspire others.

In the near future, Ms. Farley is looking forward to retirement, but she plans on continuing to help others and mentoring children. She also hopes to return to school. She wants to be remembered as someone who was always trying to help people, and can often be found volunteering at her local church.
