Attributing her success to her passion for what she does, Laurie Mohler has spent the past 15 years at the head of Lakamo Recruiting. The company specializes in finding participants for market research and usability and focus groups for major industries. There, Ms. Mohler uses her expertise in recruitment, problem solving, and qualitative and quantitative research to give intelligent people extra income and make important decisions. She is also responsible for handling operations management, client-needs assessments, staffing, financial forecasting, strategic planning, and market research and focus group participation.

Ms. Mohler got her start in the field when a family member asked her to help recruit participants for a focus group. She had 100 percent turnout, which is unheard of in the industry, and decided she wanted to continue using her abilities in a professional setting.

To prepare for her career, Ms. Mohler completed coursework at Franciscan University of Steubenville, the University of Toledo, and Evangelical University. She also holds a WBEN certification, and is a member of Vineyard Columbus, Connect Columbus and Connect Cincinnati.
