Committed to providing the best quality care to her patients, Barbara Cox has spent decades serving as a physical therapist. In that time, she has been involved with numerous aspects of the profession, including business, personnel management, and management in a hospital setting. Ms. Cox’s responsibilities have come to include evaluating patients, designing treatment programs, and implementing them, as well as mentoring students and new graduates. Her primary interest within the field of physical therapy is geriatrics.

To prepare for her career, Ms. Cox earned a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Texas in 1960. She also maintains affiliation with the Texas Physical Therapy Association, and has held numerous offices with the organization. As a testament to her success, Ms. Cox was recognized as a Professional of the Year of Covington Who’s Who in 2013.
