A serial entrepreneur for the past two and a half decades, Susan Sprentall has garnered experience creating and growing companies in the engineering, manufacturing and industrial laser industries. Currently, she is the president and chief executive officer of SurClean Inc., a company that specializes in licensing, manufacturing and selling laser coating removal products.

Ms. Sprentall holds a degree in business and accounting from Indiana University, after which, she attended Purdue University for electrical engineering. She then moved into the sales management sector and held a variety of positions in marketing before moving into laser technology field in 1999, where she has been ever since. As the president and CEO of a growing business, she is responsible for establishing the mission and vision of the company, as well as strategic planning and development. Her dedication to SurClean Inc. was acknowledged with the first place GLEQ New Business Concept award.

The hardest challenge Ms. Sprentall has had to face was proving her worth and knowledge in an extremely male dominated field. With strengths in research, communications, networking and marketing, she finds her inspiration rooted in her deep desire to make a difference and leave a mark on this world.
