Currently, Ms. Trehan is the owner and chief capacity officer for Rita Trehan LLC, where she focuses on pushing HR into the spotlight and tackling changes that HR must make to meet the business challenges of the 21st century. She has helped companies rethink their approach to HR, as well as transformed its functions into integrated parts of the business.

Ms. Trehan has won a number of awards and recognition, including being ranked among  the Top 100 Human Resources Officers by ExecRank in 2012 and the Stevie Silver Award Winner 2015 for Best International Start-Up Of The Year. She is also an advisor, investor and member of the Board of EveryLayer, an organization focused on bringing high-quality and affordable broadband to emerging markets in Africa and Asia. In an attempt to share her HR expertise, Ms. Trehan has also written a book, called “Unleashing Capacity: The Hidden Human Resource.”
