After initially starting her career on a hospital board, Patricia Raskob decided to switch gears and open her own financial company, Raskob Kambourian Financial Advisors, Ltd. The fee-only life planning firm offers assistance in founding business plans for start-ups, and handles taxes, estate and retirement planning, pension plan design, trust services, and assessment management. All of the planners employed by Ms. Raskob are highly qualified and at the top of their field, providing an exceptional way for their clients to meet their dreams, goals, and objectives. Over the years, she and her company have addressed many unusual situations on behalf of their clients, and nothing surprises them anymore. They believe that if you plan for the worst and it doesn’t happen then that’s good, but if it does happen then at least there is a plan.
In addition to Raskob Kambourian Financial Advisors, Ms. Raskob has also done work with Kansas State University and Arizona University, and taught classes in financial planning for women at Pima College. She intends to continue working with universities to strengthen their planning programs, and is inspired by providing education to future generations. To prepare for this career path, Ms. Raskob earned a Bachelor of Science in business management and psychology from Kansas State University, and became a licensed enrolled agent, a fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute, an accredited tax and accounting advisor, a certified financial planner, and a certified seminar instructor on estates and trusts. She also has 21 hours toward a master’s degree in finance. Over the years, Ms. Raskob has received a number of accolades for her work, including becoming a delegate of The International Women’s Leadership Association in 2016 and earning the Better Business Bureau Award for Community Service. She hopes to be remember for making a difference and improving lives.
