Motivated by her desire to make a difference, Marianne Farino decided right out of high school that she wanted to enter the health care profession. She started her career as a CNA, and developed strengths in management, work ethics, resourcefulness, and patient care. Ms. Farino used these traits to open her own consultancy, Reliable Nurse Consultant, LLC, in July 2000. She considers this to be her greatest accomplishment, and hopes to keep growing the business moving forward.

To prepare for her career, Ms. Farino earned a Master of Business Administration from C.W. Post and the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, New York. She was inspired by her family; her father was a successful businessman, and her mother was always super encouraging. Along her journey, Ms. Farino served as an adjunct professor, and tried to instill the good work ethics and compassion her parents instilled in her into her students. If she could offer some advice to the younger generation, it would be to never give up and stay with positive people. Looking forward, Ms. Farino hopes to be remembered for making a positive change in health care.
