Inspired by her love of going to new places, learning new cultures and having new experiences, Linda Tatten decided to devote her career to travel. She grew up in a small community in New England, but left her job to move to Hawaii at just 21 years old. Since then, Ms. Tatten has visited more than 50 countries, and has become certified as a Hawaii Destination Expert by the Hawaii Visitor and Convention Bureau. Her firsthand knowledge of these vacation destinations has proven extremely valuable in her professional journey as the president of Travel by Tatten, a member of Tzell New England. This leisure, travel and tourism business is part of The Signature Travel Network, which allows clients special amenities, upgrades, exclusive benefits and savings when booking one of their partner hotels or cruise lines. Through it, Ms. Tatten develops and manages travel for educational and special interest programs for cultural institutions, church groups, family groups, and women-only groups. She really enjoys the diversity her job offers, and is passionate about helping her customers have a great time on their trips.

In addition to Travel with Tatten, Ms. Tatten is the co-founded of Katlin Travel Group, a Virtuoso Agency, which is a network of travel agencies working with the best in luxury travel. As a testament to her expertise, she has been a guest speaker on several Boston radio shows and at associations, like the Pacific Asia Association’s National Meeting and ICTA Educational Forum. Ms. Tatten prepared for her career by taking numerous courses in travel and receiving certifications to qualify her for her role. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in business and political science from Emmanuel College, and because of her role as a caregiver to several family members, she is certified in personal care. Looking to the future, Ms. Tatten intends to continue on her path and never retire.
